Gold is trading at 4012 after a sharp drop from the 4244 high and is now testing the main ascending trendline. The MACD momentum remains strongly negative, reflecting continued selling pressure.

A break above 4060 could give gold some recovery, but a break below 4000 would mean a resumption of the decline towards 3950 and then 3900.

Overall trend: Bearish
Support: 4000 – 3950
Resistance: 4060 – 4120

Expectation: The downside is stronger as long as the price remains below 4060.
