The U.S. Department of Energy released its weekly report on natural gas inventories yesterday at 5:00 p.m. GMT.
Total gas in storage stood at 3,937 billion cubic feet as of November 29, 2024, reflecting a weekly decrease of 30 billion cubic feet, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

Current inventories are 185 billion cubic feet higher than a year ago and 284 billion cubic feet higher than the five-year average of 3,653 billion cubic feet, putting them above the five-year historical range.
